Matt was born on March 7, 1995 in Augusta, Georgia to a family that transplanted to Georgia after moving around in the military. The youngest of three, with two older sisters, Matt was never shy and sought the spotlight early on. He attended acting seminars with John Robert Powers in Atlanta and had some day roles in a few movies.

Matt has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America since Kindergarten and is on his way to achieving Eagle Scout status.
He has been in countless plays at school including some with the Augusta Players and Missoula Children's Theater. He has been an entrepreneur and worked in many different jobs and businesses, and self taught himself photo and video editing at home.
